What do we sell?
Side Quest Hobbies focuses on quality products for collectors and trading card game players. At launch, we offer replica sabers for display, dueling, cosplay, and collection, even options for kids!
We also carry premium TCG accessories, including binders, deck boxes, and card sleeves designed to protect and organize your cards. As we grow, we plan to expand into more Magic: The Gathering and other trading card game products, with more options becoming available by the end of 2026!
Our Story
In 2025, two unapologetic nerds made a bold decision: they quit their jobs at a local hobby store to chase a bigger dream together. What started as long conversations over dice rolls, card packs, and shared passions for all things geeky quickly turned into a vision—creating a space built by nerds, for nerds.
Fueled by a love for tabletop games, collectibles, and all the wonderfully niche hobbies that bring communities together, Side Quest Hobbies was born. Our goal is simple: to share the joy of nerdy hobbies with the world and create a welcoming hub where fellow adventurers can discover new passions, celebrate their fandoms, and always feel at home.
Our future plans
Looking ahead, Side Quest Hobbies plans to open a physical retail store in New South Wales, Australia, before the end of 2026. This space will be designed as a welcoming hub for the local gaming community.
We intend to host a wide range of Magic: The Gathering events, including weekly casual play, tournaments, prerelease events, draft nights, and learn-to-play sessions. Our store will also offer bulk cards and binders, making it easy to find new additions for your collection.
Beyond cards, we’re planning collaborations with Magic: The Gathering content creators and local game stores, along with community-focused activities such as lightsaber duel nights and themed art events. We also have plans for monthly “Side Quests” — a special, limited product experience that will be revealed once our physical store officially opens.
